In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and demonstrate a commitment to operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality production standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Operate various manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards Handle materials safely and efficiently, including materials handling and packaging tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, adhering to safety protocols Assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of machinery as needed Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, materials movement, and shipping preparation Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify waste reduction opportunities and improve process flow Skills Proven experience in manufacturing environments with knowledge of machining, packaging, and materials handling Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize productivity Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred Understanding of CGMP regulations relevant to pharmaceutical or biotech production Laboratory experience is advantageous for quality testing and documentation Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments This role is integral to maintaining efficient production operations while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
