Job Description

Forming Operator Aquatic Bath | Onsite | 1st Shift Aquatic Bath is a leading manufacturer of high-quality bathing products, committed to innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence. Our team takes pride in producing industry-leading products while maintaining a safe, clean, and team-oriented work environment. We are currently seeking a Forming Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and managing thermoforming equipment to support production goals while maintaining quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting equipment and process issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM 10-hour shifts Key Responsibilities Set up thermoforming presses and equipment for production runs Position and clamp frames, plates, and tooling according to production requirements Configure machine parameters using computer-controlled systems Perform press tear-downs and prepare equipment for subsequent jobs Follow tooling recipes and setup instructions using job-specific documentation Monitor production output to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved Load and remove sheet stock from presses and hoppers as needed Perform routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Identify and troubleshoot forming, material, or equipment-related issues Complete production records, quality documents, labor reporting, and job tickets accurately Communicate production status, issues, and shift handoff information effectively Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and efficiency Follow all environmental, safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements Stop production and notify management when quality concerns arise Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous manufacturing experience preferred Experience operating thermoforming, molding, or similar production equipment preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documentation Mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment, tooling, controls, and machine operation Basic computer skills, including data entry and Windows-based systems Ability to identify and resolve production and equipment issues independently Strong attention to detail and quality standards Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to safely operate forklifts and/or stand-up lifts preferred Knowledge of safety practices, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements What We Offer Competitive wages Clean, air-conditioned manufacturing environment Paid lunch breaks Paid time off and vacation 10 paid holidays annually Overtime opportunities based on production needs Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical Dental Vision Disability Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) eligibility beginning on day one Cross-training opportunities Career growth and advancement from within Why Join Aquatic Bath?
