Job Description

Capra Biosciences is seeking multiple motivated and detail oriented Biomanufacturing Associates to join our manufacturing team. These full-time positions serve a vital role in Capra's production of renewable biochemical products. Associates execute various manufacturing tasks, ensuring product quality and adherence to strict regulatory standards. Ideal candidates possess recent work experience at biomanufacturing facilities, ideally with formal quality control and batch deviation analysis and reporting procedures. Professional Development and Advancement Collaborative & Inclusive Work Culture Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily manufacturing activities, including setup, operating, cleaning and maintenance of process equipment, material preparation and in-process monitoring and sampling, all according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Document and record all data & information for processing steps and equipment activities Monitor critical process parameters and assist in process optimization Perform routine preventative maintenance and equipment repair Help assemble, install and validate new equipment Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA/QC, to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards Help manage parts and reagent inventory Identify and promptly report any deviations or issues in manufacturing processes Opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality Requirements H.S. diploma with at least 2 industry experience or associate's degree in science or related field with at least 1 year of industry experience Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills Ability to perform physical work duties which include routine lifting of 30 - 50 lbs Ability to work in a cGMP and eventually regulated manufacturing facility Ability to work on weekends and overtime (time and a half pay) Ability to manage individual work independently while working as part of a team U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements Can start immediately Preferred Experience Familiarity with bioprocessing equipment and instruments Mechanically inclined with strong ability to repair mechanical equipment Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of biomanufacturing principles and cGMP guidelines Experience in a biopharmaceutical/biochemical manufacturing environment Experience working with bioreactor systems Experience working with evaporation and filtration system.
Working Conditions:
This role requires long periods of standing and use of hands and regular motion to include bending, stooping, regular reaching overhead
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
