Job Description

Company Summary We are a small shop, woodworking manufacturer of a variety of Western Red Cedar outdoor living goods. Some of the products we product, all by hand, include : planter boxes, trellises, arbors, adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and more. We have been in business since 1989, serving mostly local nurseries and home & garden centers. We take great pride in being the sole supplier of handcrafted American goods to many of our dealers, keeping the "Made in America" trademark alive. Job Summary We are looking for someone who wants a stable job where you work with your hands daily and can see the physical results of your work daily! We will consider people without direct experience in production woodworking, but experience with tools and basic machinery (table saw, miter saw, hand tools) is preferred. Good attitude, readiness to work, and willingness to learn are mandatory! New-hires typically start with builds like planter boxes and trellises Tasks Prepare and organize materials. Simple cut and assembly work using pneumatic tools including : boxes, trellises, and other garden/outdoor products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area to ensure a safe working environment. Finish (spray/stain) and put away finished products. Occasionally help to load trucks for delivery. Qualifications Proficiency in hand tools (pneumatic tools, tape measure, etc.). Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and retain information (keeping a notebook for reference is required). Physical ability to lift and move items 80+ lbs. Relevant experience is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated candidates. Why Join Us?
