We are a small, close-knit team based in Kingston, Washington, focused on making botanical products with care, craftsmanship, and strong attention to quality. Because we operate in a regulated industry, consistency, documentation, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures are essential. Our standards also begin long before production: we put unusual care into sourcing fresh, local, and regionally grown herbs whenever possible, working with growers and wildcrafters we know, trust, and maintain long-term relationships with. We care deeply about where our herbs come from, how they are harvested, and the quality of the products we create from them. Role Overview Heron Botanicals is hiring a full-time Production and Fulfillment Associate to join our team.
This is a blended role:
approximately half fulfillment/customer service and half hands-on production. The balance may shift week to week depending on order volume and production needs. In fulfillment, you will process, package, and ship customer orders. You will also answer customer questions by phone and email, take orders, set up customer accounts, and provide a smooth, professional customer experience. In production, you will help in all stages of creating herbals extracts in accordance with good manufacturing practice spanning from herb intake, to pressing, to bottling and labeling. This also includes working with plant materials, following written procedures, completing production paperwork, and helping maintain clean and organized work areas. This is a great fit for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, efficient, and interested in meaningful hands-on, physical work. The right person enjoys clear procedures, careful repetition, and being part of a small team where quality matters.
