General Production Worker

General Production Worker Responsibilities Produce insulation products to customer and production specifications Operate machinery (lamination equipment or fabric welding equipment) Use control panels or equipment controls to run and adjust machines Feed raw materials and monitor production for quality and consistency Cut materials to custom lengths using saws or cutting tools Count, measure, and verify materials against work orders Weld or assemble materials when required Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality Bag, package, label, and prepare products for shipment Palletize finished goods and stack safely Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout facility Use forklifts and RF scanners when trained Support daily production goals (high-volume output) Assist with general warehouse tasks (packing, shipping, receiving) Maintain clean, organized work area Follow all safety procedures (machinery, heat, fiberglass materials) Requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and counting skills Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly; occasional heavier lifts possible Comfortable working with fiberglass insulation materials Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Reliable attendance and consistent performance Ability to handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting Team-oriented with good communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience operating production or lamination machinery Familiarity with high-heat or pressure equipment Forklift experience RF scanner or inventory tracking experience Saw or cutting equipment experience Shipping, receiving, and material handling experience Ability to multitask and work across multiple stations Willingness to learn new equipment and grow into advanced roles Benefits & Growth Advancement opportunities across the company Skill-based pay growth (equipment operation, etc.) Career paths into sales or leadership roles 401(k) with 6% match Full benefits package 16 days PTO + annual increases Stable, growing company with expansion plans Work Environment Small team (10 people), team-focused setting Facility processes insulation for buildings and storage Exposure to fiberglass materials and production equipment Work involves standing, lifting, and moving materials Requires strict adherence to safety practices and PPE Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
