Job Description A Winder/Kitter is responsible for operating equipment to produce graphite or fiberglass unidirectional prepreg (skins), then cutting the skins into 0/90 oriented kits of material for use as face sheet plies of honeycomb sandwich panels. Responsibilities Operate equipment to produce graphite or fiberglass unidirectional prepreg. Cut skins into 0/90 oriented kits for use in honeycomb sandwich panels. Follow steps outlined on the production work order to formulate each product. Complete each step of the work order and perform in-process quality checks. Report to the Winder Production Supervisor. Essential Skills 2+ years of relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing experience a plus. Basic math skills. Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Legible handwriting and printing. Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with production, assembly, kitting, and machine operation. Work Environment The role operates in a clean manufacturing facility. Weekend night shifts run from Friday to Sunday/Monday, 4pm-4am, while weekday day shifts are from Tuesday to Thursday/Monday, 4am-4pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
