• Job Description
• The Production Associate plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across multiple departments by providing flexible support where it's needed most. This role involves stepping in to cover duties for absent employees and responding to changes in workload with a team-oriented approach. You will ensure accuracy and adherence to quality and safety standards across all functions.
• Responsibilities
• + Step in to cover duties for absent employees due to vacation, sick leave, or other absences.

+ Respond to changes in workload and department needs throughout the day with a flexible and team-oriented approach. + Ensure accuracy and adherence to quality and safety standards across all functions. + Pick up and deliver urgent or 'hot' parts to and from local vendors as needed. + Prioritize transportation based on production deadlines and communicate status to relevant teams. + Maintain a valid driver's license and follow all driving safety protocols. + Build positive working relationships with external partners and internal teams. + Regularly communicate with supervisors to determine daily assignment needs. + Quickly adapt to different tasks and work environments. + Support departments such as Shipping, Receiving, Part Department, OSP (Outside Processing), and Stores during peak workloads or employee absences. + Support local delivery and pickup of critical parts from vendors to ensure production continuity and timely order fulfillment.

• Essential Skills
• + Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

+ Ability to quickly learn and perform a variety of tasks across departments. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and 25+ years of age.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with shipping and receiving, inventory control, and ERP systems. + Experience using RF scanners. + Capability to lift boxes and handle material handling equipment.

• Work Environment
• Work in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments.

Occasionally engage in hands-on work with parts for packaging or preparation. Visits to vendors or coordination with delivery drivers may be required. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods and may require coordination with production, engineering, and shipping departments. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, either 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, following a 4/10 schedule.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, WA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
