Machine Operator Job Description Seeking a skilled Machine Operator This position involves operating machinery, cutting materials, and requires a good understanding of tape measure usage. Experience with sit-down forklifts is a plus but not mandatory. Responsibilities Operate machinery efficiently and safely. Cut materials accurately using a tape measure. Lift and handle materials weighing 40-50 pounds regularly. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing steel or composite toe shoes. Maintain organized and clean workspaces. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Skills Read and Use a Tape Measure Capability to lift and carry 40-50 pounds. Mechanical knowledge and general labor experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with sit-down forklifts is a plus Team player and strong communication skills. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our production floor is organized and efficient, though some parts may require careful handling. The role operates Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Steel or composite toe shoes are required Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
