Production Process Lead Royal City, WA 99357 From $24 an hour - Full-time From $24 an hour - Full-time About the Role We're looking for a hands‑on, team‑focused Process Lead to support daily production line operations. In this role, you'll help coordinate team activities, ensure equipment and processes run smoothly, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor/Manager to meet production goals while promoting a positive, safe work environment. What You'll Do Line Operations Support daily operation of assigned production lines to meet throughput, yield, and quality goals. Verify equipment setup, startup readiness, and changeovers according to SOPs. Monitor key process parameters (dryer temperatures, infuser operation, speeds, weights) and adjust within authorized limits. Complete production documents, checksheets, counts, and support downtime tracking. Quality & Food Safety Follow all GMPs, HACCP procedures, and product‑handling requirements. Conduct in‑process checks: weights, color, moisture, labels, foreign material checks. Report deviations promptly and support corrective action efforts. Maintain proper product identification and traceability. Safety & Compliance Model proper PPE use and safe work practices. Identify and report hazards, near misses, and incidents. Participate in safety huddles, audits, and investigations. Maintain clean and organized work areas and support sanitation/CIP activities. Team Leadership Provide direction to production staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely. Assist in training employees on SOPs, equipment operation, quality checks, and changeovers. Support break coverage, job rotations, and fill in on the line when needed. Promote teamwork, communication, and adherence to policies. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Sanitation on cleaning windows and line readiness. Communicate material shortages, product defects, or operational gaps. Support Maintenance with equipment issues, repairs, and PM activities. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and inefficiencies. Participate in trials, standard work initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Provide performance and improvement feedback to the Supervisor. Documentation & Reporting Complete shift reports, production totals, quality logs, and incident reports. Ensure accurate material usage, counts, and process‑check documentation. Communicate production issues or delays to leadership. What You Bring Required 2-3 years of manufacturing or food processing experience, ideally in a lead or senior operator role. English/Spanish bilingual communication abilities. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Preferred Intermediate MS Office skills. Experience with production or inventory management software. Ability to plan, organize, and anticipate work activities. Prior experience operating a 3‑stage forklift in a closed environment. Physical Requirements Ability to reach, handle materials, and communicate clearly. Ability to see at distances of 20+ feet and differentiate colors. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
