Production Associate- Position Overview
- We are seeking a dependable Production Associate to support daily manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assist in preparing parts and surfaces for finishing processes such as painting or coating, while also handling staging, packaging, and general shop tasks. This is a hands-on position that plays a key part in maintaining production quality and workflow efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Prepare components and surfaces prior to coating by cleaning, sanding, or otherwise removing contaminants.
+ Ensure parts are free of oil, dust, and debris before entering paint or finishing processes. + Apply masking materials to designated areas to protect surfaces during coating applications. + Organize and position materials and parts to keep production lines operating smoothly. + Safely package completed items to prevent damage during storage or shipment. + Assist with various general labor tasks to support overall production needs. + Follow instructions, job orders, and company quality standards closely. + Move materials and components throughout the facility, handling items up to 25 lbs. + Maintain consistent attendance and arrive ready to work each scheduled shift. + Adapt to different duties or workstations as production priorities change. + Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety and operational guidelines.
- Required Skills & Experience
- + Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
+ Familiarity with surface prep processes such as cleaning, masking, or basic finishing prep. + Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks accurately. + Experience in packaging and handling finished parts is a plus. + Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods. + Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. + Strong reliability and punctuality in attendance. + Flexible and willing to take on a variety of assignments within the production area. + Understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing setting. + Must meet eligibility requirements for working in an ITAR-regulated environment.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
