Hourly Level Entry Category Education Apply Description Summer Activity Camp:
Sports / Athletic Instructor (Miller CC) Associated Recreation Council (ARC) , in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Sports / Athletic Camp Instructor to lead youth all-sports camps at Miller. These camps introduce participants to a variety of sports and athletic activities. All sports camps are designed to help children explore different skill sets and guide them toward the sports that feel right for them. While participants explore a range of sports, they also build core skills that are essential to many athletes.

Summer Activity Camp:
Sports /
Athletic Instructor Responsibilities:
Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate sports and athletic activities Teach fundamental movement skills, coordination, and basic sport techniques Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment Set up and break down equipment and activity areas Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures

Athletic Instructor Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Experience instructing or coaching youth in sports or athletic programs Experience working with children in a recreational or camp setting Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
