This is a full-time, in-person role in a fast-paced production shop where every day is active, physical, and detail-driven. The Press Assistant plays an important role in keeping jobs moving smoothly from press to pickup. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with messy, hands-on work, enjoys being part of a team, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

Catching shirts at the end of the dryer Inspecting garments for quality and print accuracy Verifying quantities against job details Boxing completed orders Staging finished jobs in the pickup area Keeping the production flow organized and efficient On-press support duties may include: Cleaning squeegees and tools Laying out shirts for the next job Taping screens Assisting press operators as needed Mixing ink Operating a heat press Helping prepare jobs for production Screen cleaning duties include: Operating the blue water machine to clean screens Maintaining clean, usable screens for upcoming jobs Following shop procedures for reclaiming and cleaning Keeping the screen area organized and safe What We're Looking For The right candidate is: Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Comfortable in a production environment Willing to do messy, physical, hands-on work Detail-oriented and committed to quality control Able to follow instructions and work efficiently Flexible and willing to help wherever needed A team player with a positive attitude Interested in learning more about screen printing and production No prior screen printing experience is required, but experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, print, apparel, or hands-on shop work is helpful. Schedule This is a full-time, in-person position. Shop hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Growth Opportunity This role has plenty of room for growth. For the right person, there is potential to develop into an apprentice role and learn more advanced screen printing production skills over time. Work Environment This is a real production space. The work can be messy, repetitive, and physical, but it is also fast-moving, team-oriented, and rewarding.
