Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dye Sublimation Production Specialist to join our apparel production team. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and executing custom sublimation print jobs from order intake through print output. You will take customer order data and translate it into accurate, production-ready layouts using Adobe Illustrator, while also supporting printer operation, maintenance, and workflow coordination. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Build and layout custom sublimated apparel orders based on order sheets and specifications Apply correct templates, sizes, names, numbers, and design variations Prepare accurate, print-ready files in Adobe Illustrator Ensure correct color usage and consistency across orders Send jobs to print and manage print queues efficiently Operate dye sublimation printers, including: Loading paper (50 lb. rolls) Monitoring print runs Refilling ink and performing routine maintenance Use production tracking software to manage and update order status Double-check and proof layouts for accuracy before printing Review and verify work completed by other team members as needed Coordinate with customer service, sales, press production, and cutting/sewing teams to ensure smooth workflow Maintain organization of files, templates, and production assets Qualifications Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a production environment Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced setting Comfortable working with production systems and digital workflows Ability to lift and handle 50 lb. paper rolls consistently throughout the day Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience Experience in dye sublimation, textile printing, or apparel decoration Familiarity with RIP software and print workflows Understanding of color management and print production processes Background in a print shop or manufacturing/production environment What We're Looking For Someone who thrives in a production-first environment A detail-focused problem solver who can catch errors before they reach print A team player who communicates well across departments Someone comfortable balancing computer-based design work and hands-on production tasks Why Join Us Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment Gain hands-on experience with dye sublimation and apparel manufacturing Be part of a process that turns custom designs into finished products Opportunities to grow within print production and operations
