  • 25 The Opportunity We are a growing manufacturing company in Vancouver, Washington, seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in transforming raw steel into high-quality, precision-engineered components while supporting an efficient, in-house production process.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Set up and operate heavy-duty press brakes (Bystronic Xpert 250-ton) to form steel parts ranging from 18-gauge to 1/2-inch
Technical Setup:
Perform tool and die changes, adjust programs, and calibrate machinery to meet precise bend specifications
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and consistency; collaborate with QA to improve work instructions and documentation
Inventory & Safety:
Monitor material levels, report discrepancies, and maintain a safe, organized work environment
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the welding lead to meet production schedules and deadlines Qualifications Minimum 1 year of press brake experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld prints, and technical drawings Basic computer skills , including Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to make manual tooling adjustments High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift Strong close-range vision Ability to hear and respond to shop safety signals (alarms, horns) Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate to loud noise Additional Requirements Must pass a background check and drug screening
