Job Title:
Production Assistant (Temporary) Job Description The Production Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily office operations in a fast-paced environment. This role manages phone communication, schedules, and meeting coordination while handling data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance. The Production Assistant collaborates closely with internal teams, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, routing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information. Manage schedules and calendars, including coordinating and confirming meetings, appointments, and internal events. Prepare, format, and organize documents, reports, and correspondence to support daily operations and internal teams. Perform accurate data entry into computer systems, including HR systems and other databases, ensuring information is current and complete. Scan, file, and organize digital and physical documents to maintain an orderly and accessible record-keeping system. Maintain and update employee and operational records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Support internal teams with administrative tasks such as tracking information, preparing materials, and following up on action items. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adjusting to changing needs. Handle sensitive employee and company information with strict confidentiality and discretion at all times. Essential Skills Proven ability to answer and manage calls from customers and internal contacts in a professional manner. Proficiency in computer operation, including basic office software and data entry tools. Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with scanning, organizing, and maintaining digital and physical copies of documents. Employee confidentiality and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally. Comfort using HR systems and data entry tools, including HRIS and applicant tracking systems, to maintain accurate employee records. Effective time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth daily office operations. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with HR processes and documentation, including maintaining employee files and records. Ability to quickly learn new software systems and office tools as needed. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach when supporting internal teams. Professional demeanor and reliability when handling day-to-day administrative responsibilities. Adaptability to changing priorities and operational needs, especially in a dynamic or transitional environment. Why Work Here? You can expect a structured yet changing environment as the plant moves toward closure, requiring flexibility and a professional approach to handling both routine and transitional activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Walla Walla, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
