WASH WARP DRESSER
Pendleton Woolen Mills (retail) 22.22 To 23.70 (USD) Hourly paid holidays, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Washington, Washougal Jun 18, 2026 POSITION SUMMARY The Warp Dresser is responsible for operating dressing and rewinding machinery to prepare warp yarns for the weaving process in a textile manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to quality and safety standards to ensure production efficiency and product integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Set up and remove yarn from creels at, below, and above shoulder height Read and interpret textile patterns and specifications Operate the Hacoba Dresser and Suzuki Sample Dresser Beam warps upon completion of dressing process Inspect work for quality and accuracy throughout the process Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned to support mill operations

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required Two (2) or more years of production or manufacturing experience is desired Or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 5 pounds frequently Ability to push wheeled yarn carts weighing approximately 50-400 pounds Frequent use of hands and fingers to manipulate yarn Ability to remove and replace pressure bars Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Ability to use a step ladder to access higher sections of the yarn creel Ability to reach and extend arms while dressing a warp 2ND SHIFT 3:00 PM-11:30 PM M-F Wages and annual increases are provided in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. Shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Eligible employees receive nine (11) paid holidays, medical, dental, prescription drug coverage, short-term disability benefits, vision care reimbursement, shoe reimbursement, and a 401(k) retirement plan with Company matching contributions up to $750 annually, plus an annual employer fixed contribution of $1,300. Employees also begin accruing sick leave and vacation time starting on their first day of employment.
