Job Description

Processed Metals Innovators (PMI) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Clerk to join our team on 1st shift . This role is responsible for supporting production operations by coordinating workflow, maintaining accurate production data and documentation, tracking materials, and helping ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, staying organized, multitasking, and supporting production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Compile and maintain production records, reports, and documentation Review customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and production paperwork for accuracy Pick, return, and tag raw materials to production jobs Monitor job quantities and scrap levels; report shortages, overages, and discrepancies Transfer finished goods into inventory and complete required tagging Complete customer production reports as needed Prepare and stage upcoming production jobs Sort, file, and maintain production paperwork Work closely with production personnel and cross-functional teams to support best practices Examine documentation and work processes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Pay:
$19.90 - $25.25 per hour
