POSITION SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position involves the operation and maintenance of the Ricoh digital presses in checks production. Work is performed in accordance with departmental production procedures, all safety rules and regulations as outlined in the employee Handbook, and in cooperation with coworkers and all other staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the description below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reads and interprets order forms and plans work in accordance with each order and established procedure. Prepares/runs check orders, ensuring correct positioning, ink density, and numerical sequence as well as overall quality. Maintains quality and production standards at all times. Operates check presses and trimmer. Performs minor repairs and maintenance. Restocks unused check paper on proper shelving. Delivers make-ready to cutter. Serves as back‑up in other check department jobs as needed. Reports to Supervisor any errors and problems with orders or equipment. Cleans own equipment and work station. Completes time sheet accurately using proper job function codes. Participates in and contributes to scheduled department meetings. Is knowledgeable of and follows safety procedures.
