General Production Worker Job Description As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and production areas, monitoring product safety and quality, and maintaining accurate records. You will support root-cause investigations and improvement efforts, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production process. Responsibilities Check equipment and production areas before and during operations. Monitor product safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate production records. Support root-cause investigations and improvement initiatives. Monitor production parameters and verify compliance through record reviews and direct observation. Perform pre-operational and changeover inspections. Document issues and corrective actions. Conduct SSOP inspections while the plant is operational. Essential Skills Proficiency in production and inspection processes. Strong focus on safety records and food safety standards. Experience in food preparation and handling. Ability to work efficiently on a production line. Proficiency in packaging techniques. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with problem-solving in a production environment. Comfortable with computers and paperwork as processes transition to digital. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role involves working 12-hour straight shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, with options for day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The work environment is business casual, providing a comfortable and professional setting for your work. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greenleaf, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
