About The Opportunity Assistant Operator is responsible for assisting with and/or operating machinery to cut out parts of specified size and shape from corrugated board and properly offloading and inspecting finished material.

Pay Rate:

$24-30/hr depending on department

Work Hours:

6PM-6AM 3-2-2-3 Schedule Entry Level Welcome! Willing to Train!

Essential Functions:

Operate machine to cut out parts of specified size an d shape from corrugated board. Review and u nderstan d job ticket information to determin e quantity, special instructions, and customer requirements Stack off finished bundles and feed sheets into the machine Prepare paperwork and bottom slip sheets for each other Maintain a clean and organized work area Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machines as necessary Fill in for machine operators during their absence Check finished products for quality per customer specifications Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform all duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Safety-sensitive position: ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner Ability to stand, sit, kneel and bend over for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly if necessary Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed based on business needs Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Ability to read a tape measure/ruler Ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job Two companies, one vision.
