Job Title:
Quality Technician Job Description As a Quality Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring product safety, consistency, and compliance throughout the production process. You will inspect equipment and production areas, verify that quality standards are met, document findings, and support investigations that drive continuous improvement. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Inspect equipment and production areas before and during operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Monitor product quality, safety, and process parameters through direct observation and record reviews Maintain accurate and detailed quality documentation, including inspection records and corrective action reports Support root‑cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives Perform pre‑operational, changeover, and SSOP inspections while the plant is operational Identify nonconformances, document issues, and verify corrective actions Assist with verification of production records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and internal requirements Essential Skills Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and production standards Knowledge of safety protocols and food safety requirements Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment Experience with measurement tools, inspection techniques, and documentation Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis in a production setting Comfortable with computers and transitioning from paper‑based to digital systems Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or process deviations Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates on 12‑hour straight shifts following a 2‑2‑3 schedule, with options for day shifts (6:00 AM-6:00 PM) or night shifts (6:00 PM-6:00 AM). The work environment is business casual, offering a comfortable and professional setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kaukauna, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
