Job Description

Overview A Manufacturing Assistant is responsible for maintaining all documents and data, using multiple computer systems for the production plant. You will work with data daily and must ensure accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment. This role provides critical capacity support for daily operations and extended weekend production shifts. Responsibilities Process all manufacturing orders for the Madison plant. Process daily production labor records. This includes auditing operator-entered data, calculating earned hours from labor forms, and entering data into
UKG/AS400.
Complete daily production performance audits to identify production staff punching errors and standard labor entry discrepancies. Answer the Madison Plant's main telephone lines. Relay messages, page personnel, make informational and emergency announcements as needed. Print all forms, documents, receiving notices, labels and summaries as directed. Print, sort and distribute OT bonus cards when requested. Complete and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly required paperwork, records, documents, Purchase and maintain office supplies used in the Madison plant by both Production and General staff personnel. Complete special projects as assigned Key Qualities & Skills Strong computer skills, MS Office. High level of attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Translates concepts and information into images or charts. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Coordinates projects and driven to present high quality of work. Maintains confidentiality. Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time Assist team members when needed and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
