  • Raise after 60 days Join the team at Eck Industries , a leading aluminum foundry in Manitowoc, WI.
We are seeking hands on, detail oriented individuals to support our skilled Molders in producing high quality sand molds for precision aluminum castings . Our cast components are used in aerospace, defense, and other cutting edge industries , where accuracy and craftsmanship are essential. In this role, you will help prepare and assemble sand molds that form the foundation for high performance aluminum parts. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in accuracy, and want to be part of a team, building components that make a real impact, we'd love to talk with you. What You'll Do Assist with core and mold preparation, including hand filing sand cores, mixing sand/zircon, mudding and dipping cores, and cutting or supplying materials such as riser sleeves and chill blocks. Handle materials manually and with equipment—using forklifts, carts, racks, flatbeds, pallets, and other transport tools as needed. Support occasional production duties, including helping with pouring and shakeout tasks.
Follow work instructions:
prepare tools, identify specs, place shop order tickets, transport castings to finishing, and perform daily equipment inspections. Maintain workplace standards by keeping the area clean, organized, and compliant with 6S requirements; perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Prior manufacturing experience preferred (but we'll train the right person!). High school diploma or GED preferred. Good attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
