Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to perform the combined duties of Paint Support and Press Operator. This position will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production and customer satisfaction by handling tasks related to loading/unloading, finishing, defect management, and press operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Paint Support Responsibilities:
Load/unload parts onto/from fixtures.

Inspect and identify defects such as dirt, blisters, scratches, and fisheyes.

Buff, wet sand, and polish parts using appropriate tools and materials.

Perform color matching and follow cosmetic zoning standards.

Utilize RFID systems for part tracking.

Safely handle customer products and ensure quality control.
Press Responsibilities:
Operate presses and secondary equipment.

Weigh, cut, and arrange raw materials.

Load materials into the press and remove finished parts.

Deflash and assemble parts using hand tools and pneumatic tools.

Inspect parts for cosmetic and functional compliance.

Ensure parts are properly tagged and processes are followed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.6 months of manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to follow work instructions accurately.

Reliable with strong attendance.

Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift 50 lbs regularly.

Use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment.

Requires vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and color vision.
Work Environment:
Loud manufacturing environment near moving mechanical parts.

Safety gear and adherence to safety protocols are required.
