Job Description

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES
Work within and adhere to the safety practices established within the company. Meet or exceed production requirements based on information and/or equipment used in the course of work performance. Preventative maintenance of equipment used in the course of work performance. Maintain accurate record keeping within the department. Repackage product into proper containers. Container preparation. (Labeling, stenciling, placarding, etc.). Equipment maintenance. Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with Laboratory personnel. Maintain clean working environment. Loading/unloading or outbound/inbound tankers. Maintains assigned production area and assures that it is operated within operating procedures and/or process descriptions. Receive Initial and Annual Hazardous Waste Management Training.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
Ability to maintain a good safety and attendance record. Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs. Knowledge of forklift operation, with certification. Skills associated with a high school diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of D. O. T. regulations. Good math, bookkeeping, and organization skills. Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements. Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertinent to the Compressed Gas Department. Ability to understand and comply with the responsibilities of the job as outlined in the Job description. Ability to understand and carry out process descriptions applicable to the job. Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.
