MUST TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists Melter in preparation of molds ready for pouring for each procedure. Assists Melter in all procedures to complete pouring process. Follows instructions given from Melter, Foundry Supervisor, or Plant Foreman. Obeys safety rules all safety rules and always wears PPE. Reads every Production/Process Sheet for instructions/accuracy/lot integrity. Moves molds from shelves in order given by pour schedule. Check every mold for cracks/damage. Ensures damaged molds are not loaded into oven. Preps sand beds. Helps run metals back and forth to warehouse and updates weights. Ensures that Melters on the deck are able to continue melting. Other duties as designated by Foundry Supervisor or Plant Foreman. Must be able to lift 80 plus lbs and work under extreme heat.
