Job Description
- Production Control Clerk
Location:
- Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Job Type:
- Direct Hire
Pay Rate:
- $20-$25/hour We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Clerk to support manufacturing and production operations through clerical, administrative, and data management responsibilities.
- Applicants must have experience with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables in Excel.
- This role helps ensure smooth production flow by tracking orders, maintaining accurate system data, monitoring material availability, and supporting communication across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
- Order Tracking & Data Management
- + Track open manufacturing orders and maintain accurate updates in ERP/MRP systems + Enter and verify production data including order changes, schedules, quantities, and material status + Identify and report delays, discrepancies, or missing information
- Production & Materials Support
- + Monitor inventory levels for parts, components, and raw materials + Assist with material coordination, supplier deliveries, and expedite requests + Support production planners and supervisors with order status updates and reporting
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- + Communicate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams regarding production status + Help escalate issues involving late materials, quality concerns, or scheduling conflicts + Serve as an administrative support link between departments
- Reporting & Administrative Duties
- + Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, logs, and production documentation + Prepare regular reports on inventory, schedules, and production status + Organize and manage production records and shared system files + Perform additional clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- + High school diploma or equivalent required + 0-1 year of manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required + Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams + Experience working with ERP, MRP, or database systems preferred + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under supervision + Strong written and verbal communication skills •
