00 /hr. shift premium) Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with eligibility to receive a pay increase after 90 days with positive performance and attendance. Responsibilities:
Responsible for safely operating the machines, as part of the production process to assemble shoe inserts Work with a team to ensure that all products are assembled to the highest quality standards. Responsible for set up, operation, and oversight of the needed equipment during production Observe and monitor machine operations while running to detect and identify defects to determine if adjustments are necessary. Perform all quality checks to ensure proper utilization to minimize waste and rework. Perform preventative and mechanical maintenance, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning as needed. Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in production/machine operation/grinding preferred Must be detail oriented Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude & troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds Ability to stand for up to 8 hours Ability to work in an environment that may be seasonably warm or cool and dusty Ability to read and interpret instructions in English; ability to verbally communicate in English Must be reliable Must be able to work both on a team and independently
