SUMMARY:
The Specialist, Campaign Production position supports Campaign Coordinators and internal staff with the set-up and monitoring of simple websites to support fundraising efforts and also has direct contact with donors and potential donors by supporting the donor help desk throughout the duration of the campaign season (September-December).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Communicate with Resource Development staff on the status and access of websites. Primary contact for Campaign Coordinators. Participate in final accounting reports for customers, including keeping a calendar of upcoming kickoffs and closing of websites. Complete testing and quality control of website production. Support pledge processing in information collection on specific transactions. Monitor the donor services help desk line and respond to customer questions during normal business hours. Document interactions and update knowledge base. Suggest improvements.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service demeanor, including patience and listening. Experience working with diverse populations. Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands. Will need to show proficiency in custom software (training available) Ability to apply database management software concepts to practical situations. Proficient with computer applications such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, ANDAR, and the internet desired.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of relatable work experience is preferred or an internship/community service. Accountability, excellent customer service, and commitment to making our community campaign successful. Ability to work independently with little direction and supervision, and a desire and ability to work as a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills - especially email and phone etiquette. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (for email and shared calendars). Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with very high demands. Ability to represent United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County in a consistently professional manner. Phone, computer, and internet access outside of the office, to work remotely if necessary.
