04:00 PM- 12:00 AM Join our family-owned cheese production team where quality, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship come first.
Production Associate Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control production machinery
- Monitor and use "Clean in Place" procedures on product machinery and tools
- Must be able to use hands and arms for scooping and shoveling cheese curds in large bins
- Correctly take samples of product for lab testing
- Maintain appropriate production records
- Fill out proper documentation in accordance with customer specification and government agencies
- Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product
- Follow Safety Procedures
- Maintain clean work environment
- Aid plant manager on the shift by following his/her directions
- Operate within HACCP guidelines to assure safe, quality product
- Operate and set up bagging machine to bag and seal 37lbs-42lbs block cheese
- Once block cheese is sealed quality check to assure there's no holes
Requirements For Production Associate:
- Ability to stand the entire shift 8-10 hours a day
- Exposure to toxic, caustic chemicals (anhydrous ammonia), Acid Wash
- Lift up to 50lbs rarely from the ground and 20 lbs. occasionally
MUST FOLLOW GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES
(GMP)- Ability to work in warm/hot environment
- Must be able to stay late if needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Outstanding attendance record and team focus to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Quality focused
- able to follow all personal and food safety requirements
- Saturday work is required
- Experience of 1-2 years in Manufacturing position
- Ability to report to work on time when scheduled
