Job Title:
Production Operator - 3rd Shift Job Description The Production Operator on 3rd shift assembles circuit boards and related sub-assemblies using hand tools and production machinery in a clean, climate-controlled environment. This role follows computer-based, step-by-step instructions, performs quality checks, and supports general production activities such as picking and packaging to ensure high-quality products for a variety of applications. Responsibilities Assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches. Operate production machinery to print solder paste and work with smaller components as part of the assembly process. Follow detailed, computer-based, step-by-step instructions to complete each assembly accurately and efficiently. Log into and navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously to access the correct work instructions and documentation. Perform quality checks on completed work before moving items to the next step in the production process. Handle general production tasks, including picking and packaging, to support overall workflow and on-time delivery. Use soldering techniques, when applicable, to assemble and secure electronic components on circuit boards. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with facility standards and safety guidelines. Collaborate with leads, supervisors, and team members to meet production goals and resolve any issues that arise during assembly. Participate in training activities and apply feedback from trainers and supervisors to continuously improve performance. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches safely and accurately. Comfort using basic computer programs daily to access and follow step-by-step instructions. Ability to log into and work within multiple computer programs at the same time. Experience in production or general production work, even at an entry level. Basic assembly skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions and work processes. Attention to detail and commitment to performing quality checks on completed work. Ability to perform picking and packaging tasks as part of the production workflow. Strong work ethic and reliability to support consistent 3rd shift operations. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
