Hours:
11:00pm-7:00am (Sun-Thurs) We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Production Lead to support daily manufacturing operations and guide production team members on the floor. This role serves as a key point of support for production staff, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The Production Lead works closely with supervisors and management to maintain workflow, address day-to-day production issues, and support team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Production Lead Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to production team members.
  • Assist in coordinating workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Support training of new employees and reinforce standard work procedures.
  • Monitor product quality and escalate issues as needed.
  • Help ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic production or equipment issues.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production status and concerns.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
  • Assist with material handling, setup support, and line organization as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.
Production Lead Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead, senior operator, or key holder role preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience:
  • Injection molding or plastics manufacturing experience.
  • Experience training or mentoring coworkers on the production floor.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
