Operator (Assembly & Molding) 2nd shift
Reports To:
Lead Operator/ Shift Supervisor Authority :
All employees have the authority to stop operations/production for the following three reasons: 1) a quality defect, 2) an unsafe act, or 3) a health hazard. The schedule for 2nd Shift is Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am Job Competencies/Duties (include, but are not limited to):
Competencies:
Be able to lift 40 Lbs. Stand for at least 8 hours Be able to repetitively clip and trim plastic parts for the duration of an 8-hour shift Complete other specialized training courses as needed for assigned job duties.
Examples:
ATS machine operation, Visual SPC use, etc. High School diploma or equivalent work-related experience
Job Duties:
Read, understand & comply with Detailed Work Instructions for the part being run Complete Operator Production Report. Process and Inspect parts as instructed/per job packet. Comply with all company procedures and policies Report for work, clock in at the scheduled time and be at the workstation on time Maintain clean and organized work area Maintain break room, restrooms, parking facilities and ground Honor break time allotment (includes travel time to and from their workstation) Maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and management Assist in giving breaks as informed by the auxiliary or supervisor. Meet quota of parts as required by production Adhere to all work instructions given for all parts Assist in doing re-work of parts and re-packing as instructed by the Supervisor. Other duties assigned by Lead Operator/ Supervisor. Maintain the highest quality work to continuously ensure customer satisfaction. EOE Compensation is based on
