Creates signs and poles from sheet metal using various methods of fabrication and metal cutting equipment. This includes but is not limited to shears, CNC, drill press, various metal cutters, and routers.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate various equipment such as shears, computers, drills, saws Set up, adjust, and properly use various equipment. Pick up stock and place in carts. Conduct daily inspections of equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and bend and twist up to 45 degrees Ability to read blue prints Basic math and measurement skills Ability to touch and raise arms above shoulder Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to follow safety rules and work in proactively safe manner. National Coalition of Certifications Centers (NC3)
