1st Shift & 2nd Shift Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Punch Press Operator to safely and efficiently operate punch press equipment in our client's fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production goals while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate punch press equipment safely and efficiently to meet production requirements Assist Setup Technicians during machine setups and learn setup procedures according to company standards Perform coil changes and make minor machine adjustments following work instructions Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators Follow all quality procedures to ensure parts meet blueprint and customer specifications Accurately record labor, inventory, tooling, and production data in the ERP system Perform basic material handling tasks using pallet jacks and overhead cranes Complete weekly preventive maintenance tasks and submit maintenance requests as needed Support and help train Production Helpers and other Punch Press Operators during production runs and setups Contribute improvement ideas focused on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency Perform all duties required of a Punch Press Operator Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times and follow all safety procedures
