Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to ensure each product is completed with precision and accuracy in one's department, enabling a smooth transition to the next stage of the manufacturing process. By maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail, our Production Associate plays a critical part in keeping production flowing efficiently throughout the facility. Finishing Department- both 1st and 2nd shift Stain and paint doors and cabinets to meet quality and aesthetic standards. Apply putty, sand surfaces, and perform specialty finishing work. Meet production deadlines by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment while handling tools and equipment. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Paint mixing is a plus Final Assembly Hang cabinets, cut shelves, and attach doors or other cabinet belongings with precision. Construct drawer boxes with precision, ensuring all dimensions and details meet production specifications. Meet production deadlines by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment while handling tools and equipment. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Assembly Department Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks, including drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pneumatic tools. Read and interpret work orders, and assembly instructions to ensure accuracy in construction. Assemble cabinets and cabinet components such as frames, shelves, and doors according to production specifications and quality standards. Inspect parts and materials for defects or inconsistencies before and during assembly, ensuring only quality components are used. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while handling tools and equipment. Meet production deadlines by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educational and/or
Experience:
Minimum Level Required:
High school diploma or equivalency with related experience.
Preferred:
Technical degree or formal training in Cabinet Making, Woodworking, or Construction disciplines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proven ability to operate hand tools and woodworking machinery safely, efficiently, and with precision. Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures and production specifications, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship, producing work that meets high standards. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately, supporting consistency across production processes. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors across departments. Adaptability and flexibility to work in multiple departments as production needs evolve. Familiarity with finishing techniques such as staining, painting, and sanding is highly valued. Valid driver's license required depending on departmental assignment.
