job summary: We are seeking a QC Virology Lab analyst, responsible to perform Mycoplasma and PCR related assays supporting GMP, Clinical, and development product releaseThis position is to support related QC Virology and Mycoplasma Assay testing for GMP, Clinical, and development product release.

Berkeley, California job type: Contract salary: $32.00 - 36.56 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Support day-to-day operations in QC Virology laboratoriesConduct mycoplasma testing and various virology assaysEnsuring all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), regulatory guidelines, and safety protocolsMaintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environmentDemonstrate the ability to learn new skills and achieve proficiencySupport method verifications for clinical and commercial products qualifications: Minimum Requirement(s): Bachelors degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field with 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or in a GMP environment.

Experience with Mycoplasma testing, Cell Culture techniques and PCR.Ability to work independently with minimum supervisionAbility to support and prioritize many diverse activities simultaneously while meeting schedule commitmentsStrong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to follow written procedures #LI-CV1 skills: MS-EXCEL, Cell Cultures, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Control (QC)
