In this role, you aren't just "taping things off"—you are the final line of defense ensuring our products meet rigorous engineering standards. You will be responsible for interpreting complex blueprints and applying intricate masking patterns with surgical precision, all while maintaining the momentum required in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine precise areas requiring masking or protection.

Precision Masking:

Apply various masking materials (tapes, plugs, dots, or liquid mask) to complex geometries with extreme accuracy.

Technical Measurement:

Utilize calipers , micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and masking placement.

QC Inspection:

Perform thorough visual and tactile inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications and are free of defects.

Manual Dexterity:

Execute repetitive, fine-motor tasks that require a high degree of hand-eye coordination.

Workflow Management:

Maintain a high output and "fast-pace" mindset without compromising the integrity or quality of the work. What We Are Looking For The "Eagle Eye": You notice the 1mm deviation that others miss. You have a natural obsession with "getting it right the first time."

Technical Literacy:

Experience with blueprints and precision measurement tools (like calipers) is highly preferred.

Stamina & Speed:

You enjoy a physically active role and can remain focused and productive throughout a full shift in a manufacturing setting.

Reliability:

You understand that the department depends on your presence and your hard work to meet shipping deadlines.

Adaptability:

You can switch between different projects and masking requirements quickly as production needs change. Preferred Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a precision manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or finishing environment (e.g., plating, painting, or powder coating). Proven experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings. Demonstrated hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, or other precision measurement instruments. Prior experience in a formal QC inspection role, with a track record of identifying defects and maintaining high quality standards. Experience in roles requiring high-level fine motor skills, such as intricate assembly or detailed masking.

Communication & Language Requirements English Proficiency:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.

Bilingual Skills:

Ability to speak both English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Instructional Clarity:

Must have the ability to understand, follow, and communicate complex directions regarding operational and safety protocols. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and ability to lift 50lbs. Excellent fine motor skills and manual dexterity. Capable of performing manual labor tasks as needed within the production environment.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
