job summary: Under general supervision, this position performs routine laboratory testing and related activities in support of Quality Control operations. The role requires adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements while supporting analytical testing, documentation, and laboratory operations. Lab performs compendial based testing (e.g. pH, Protein Concentration, Water Testing, Endotoxin, Appearance, Color, Clairty) location: Newbury Park, California job type: Contract salary: $25.00 - 29.59 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Associate responsibilities: Perform routine laboratory procedures and analytical testing in a regulated QC environmentDocument, calculate, compile, interpret, and enter laboratory data accurately and in a timely mannerOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and specialized equipment as required.

Maintain laboratory reagents and maintain an inspection ready areaMaintain complete and compliant laboratory documentation, including logbooks, worksheets, and electronic recordsFollow all applicable safety guidelines, cGMPs, and CFR requirementsMaintain training records and comply with written procedures and laboratory systemsSupport controlled document updates and change implementation activitiesIdentify and escalate compliance, safety, or data integrity issues as appropriateMay recommend and implement improvements related to routine job functions qualifications: Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field with 1 year of academic /professional experience Candidates with hands-on QC GMP laboratory experience, even if a degree is not heldIndividuals who are highly trainable and enthusiastic about learning analytical testing techniquesTeam-oriented professionals with strong time management, reliability, and organizational skillsCandidates comfortable working with basic computer systems and laboratory documentationFamiliarity with GMP principles is preferred but not requiredAbility to follow regulatory requirements, written procedures, and safety guidelinesAbility to review and evaluate data and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standardsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, regulated environmentUnderstanding of when and how to appropriately escalate issuesAbility to identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine job functionsCommitment to continuous learning and compliance with cGMP and safety requirements #LI-MH1 skills: Biology, Chemistry, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Control (QC),
