Job Description

Quality Control Technician The Quality Control Technician ensures that all manufactured products meet or exceed established quality standards while adhering to safety, environmental, and ISO requirements. This role is responsible for the full execution of laboratory testing and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Laboratory Testing:
Perform all QC lab testing, ensuring results are recorded accurately and in a timely manner according to quality requirements.
Compliance & Standards:
Maintain (G)ood (L)aboratory (P)ractices and ensure all documentation, such as CoA's and MSDS, meet
ISO 9001
traceability.
Equipment Calibration:
Calibrate and maintain QC instrumentation as referenced in work instructions to ensure operational accuracy.
Reporting:
Write daily reports detailing all QC testing performed on products received in the lab.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with production personnel to ensure efficient flow and identify improved methods of analysis or new equipment to increase lab efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications Education/Experience:
An Associate's degree in science or engineering, or 3-5 years of experience in a QC laboratory.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook, with the ability to present technical data to various stakeholders.
Core Competencies:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and math skills, paired with meticulous organizational abilities.
Knowledge Base:
Preferred technical knowledge in chemistry, specifically regarding cementitious materials, epoxy liquids, or latex.
Physical Requirements Lifting/Moving:
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds .
Mobility:
Ability to stand for 75% of the workday and perform twisting, bending, squatting, or climbing for 25% of the day.
Travel:
Must be able to travel between 0-5% .
