Job Description

Summary:
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will support pharmaceutical quality control and analytical testing within a GMP-compliant laboratory. Reporting to the Lab Supervisor, you will perform analytical chemistry tasks including HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, and micrometry to ensure accurate, timely release and stability testing of pharmaceutical ingredients and products. You will maintain GMP-compliant records, calibrate equipment, and uphold strict laboratory practices, contributing to product quality and regulatory compliance through precise data generation and meticulous method execution. Your experience in microbiology and biochemistry will be a plus to enhance comprehensive quality assessment of samples.
Responsibilities:
Drafting of Analytical methods and procedures (HPLC, GC-FID, FTIR, UV, Karl Fischer) Test Method qualification and verification (chemical, pharmacopeial) Received goods procedures and analysis (Inspection, Sampling, Testing, and Release of raw materials, chemical components, packaging components) In-Process and Finished Products procedures and analysis (Sampling, Testing, and Release) Lab instrument qualification, calibration, and Preventive Maintenance Water System chemical testing and controls Stability sample management and testing, and summary reporting Out of Specification (OOS) and Non-Conformance Investigations Document reviews for Quality department Support of the microbiology laboratory and product projects as required
Qualifications:
Chemistry, Microbiology, or Medical Technologist related degree (Bachelor or higher) Laboratory testing and documentation Experience Chemical Analysis Experience (Instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-FID, FTIR, UV, wet chemistry) Microbial Testing Experience preferred (USP, water, products) Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
