Contract with potential for conversion based on performance and business needs Position Summary Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an entry-level QC Microbiology Analyst I to join a Quality Control Microbiology team supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. The successful candidate will perform routine microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, sample processing, and laboratory support activities while ensuring compliance with cGMP regulations, company procedures, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing cleanrooms and critical utility systems. Conduct microbiological testing, including: Bioburden Endotoxin Growth Promotion Method Suitability Testing Prepare microbiological media, reagents, samples, and laboratory materials. Record laboratory data accurately and enter test results into LIMS and other electronic systems. Maintain laboratory equipment through routine cleaning, organization, and preventive maintenance activities. Monitor laboratory inventory and maintain adequate stock of supplies and consumables. Support investigations by gathering laboratory data related to environmental monitoring excursions, deviations, and alert/action levels. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP documentation practices, and laboratory safety requirements. Participate in technical training and ongoing professional development. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective collaboration within the QC Microbiology team. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Microbiology Biology Biotechnology Biochemistry Or another related Life Sciences discipline Equivalent combinations of education and relevant laboratory experience may also be considered. Preferred Experience 0-2 years of experience in: Quality Control Microbiology Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Medical Device Other regulated laboratory environments Academic laboratory experience will be considered in lieu of industry experience. Experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory is preferred but not required. Exposure to environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, aseptic techniques, or laboratory documentation is highly desirable. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of microbiology principles and aseptic laboratory techniques. Understanding of cGMP regulations, quality systems, and data integrity principles. Ability to perform routine microbiological testing while following established procedures. Strong documentation practices and attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with LIMS is a plus. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and learning agility. Ability to identify and escalate quality or compliance issues appropriately. Physical Requirements Ability to gown and work within classified cleanroom environments. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while moving between laboratory and manufacturing areas. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive laboratory activities, including pipetting, sample collection, and data entry. Ability to distinguish colors and perform close visual inspection of laboratory materials. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gowning, gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and other protective equipment. Comfortable working with disinfectants, laboratory chemicals, biological materials, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and cryogenic materials while following established safety procedures. Daily computer use for documentation, training, and electronic laboratory systems. Occasional weekend, holiday, or off-shift support may be required based on business needs. Pay Details:
