Pay Rate:
$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Our client is seeking a motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented Quality Control Testing Technician to join their Quality Control Laboratory team in Elkton, Maryland. This 2nd-shift temporary opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are passionate about quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will support routine product release testing, process monitoring, and internal laboratory operations while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities Perform routine quality control testing and process monitoring activities Conduct testing using laboratory instruments including: MVTR Water Entry Pressure Spectrophotometers Mass measurement equipment Accurately collect, document, and enter test data Communicate testing results, trends, and quality concerns Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Support internal customers with testing requests Follow all safety and environmental procedures and guidelines Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QC lab Qualifications Required Previous experience performing quality control testing Ability to follow detailed written procedures with precision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams Ability to learn advanced systems and software including MES systems, JMP statistical software, and instrument-specific applications Preferred Hands-on experience in a Quality Control laboratory environment Experience working with: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) DataEase or related laboratory software Quality Management Systems
