Job Description

MedPharm is seeking a Summer Intern to support the Quality Assurance (QA) team. This internship provides hands-on experience within a regulated environment, offering valuable exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and pharmaceutical quality operations. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects that support continuous improvement of MedPharm's quality systems while gaining practical skills for future career development.
Key Responsibilities:
Intern projects may include, but are not limited to: Prepare Quality Management System (QMS) documentation for off-site storage Catalog and organize quality archives Assist in the development and tracking of quality metrics Support the creation of global procedures for use across MedPharm sites Create and qualify MasterControl electronic logbooks, including: Raw Material (RM) Retains Drug Product Retains Column Issuance Logbook Issuance Notebook Issuance Perform data entry, document review, and general QA support activities Collaborate with QA team members on process improvement initiatives
Eligibility:
Eligible students will have completed their Sophomore to Senior year in a 2-year or a 4 year college program and are in the process of completing their degree program in a related field of study.
Required:
Currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
Preferred:
Interest in pharmaceutical or biotech quality systems Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or regulated environments (a plus)
