Job Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Specialist to join our client's premiere team. This role is essential in ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This person will be responsible for preparing the company for successful ISO audits and must come from a heavy ISO background. Duties Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Utilize advanced analysis skills to interpret data collected during quality assessments, identifying deviations from quality standards. Perform regular quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including FDA regulations. Coordinate measurement activities involving coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision tools to validate dimensional accuracy. Maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions for traceability and continuous improvement. Support the implementation and monitoring of quality systems aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP principles. Assist in conducting internal audits related to QA/QC processes and participate in external audits as required. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop effective corrective and preventive actions. Ensure all inspection activities adhere strictly to established protocols, including calibration of measurement instruments. Contribute to ongoing training initiatives aimed at enhancing team understanding of quality standards and procedures. Experience Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines. Strong understanding of quality management principles and systems integration within manufacturing processes. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data collection, analysis, and reporting for quality assurance purposes. Knowledge of calibration procedures for precision instruments and familiarity with quality audit processes. Excellent attention to detail combined with analytical thinking skills necessary for thorough inspections and problem-solving.
