In this vital role, you will combine craftsmanship with rigorous quality assurance practices to ensure every piece meets the highest standards of excellence. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for precision, beauty, and durability in jewelry manufacturing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and systems, contributing to the creation of exceptional jewelry products while upholding strict quality protocols. Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections of jewelry components and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Conduct comprehensive quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes. Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions, tolerances, and craftsmanship accuracy. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and CAD files to ensure manufacturing accuracy and adherence to design intent. Implement quality assurance procedures aligned with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP guidelines, and other industry-specific standards. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and develop corrective actions for continuous improvement. Maintain meticulous records of inspections, data collection, quality metrics, and audit reports to support compliance and traceability. Skills Proficiency in Calypso software for jewelry design or manufacturing management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of
ISO 13485
(medical device quality management systems), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), and related standards. Knowledge of FDA regulations applicable to jewelry or related industries ensures compliance with legal requirements. Experience operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Familiarity with quality control techniques including visual inspection systems, data collection methods, and analysis skills for defect detection. Ability to conduct thorough quality audits and implement effective quality management practices within manufacturing environments. Excellent attention to detail combined with analytical skills necessary for problem-solving and process optimization in QA/QC roles.
