The main purpose of the QC Inspector position is to assist in maintaining the quality of products according to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP guidelines as well as to inspect, quarantine, and release of incoming material and finished goods. This position is fully onsite in Irving, Texas. The opportunity Quality Control Inspection and sampling of incoming bulk Inspection and release of finished product Inspection of the lab, label, and bulk for the production process Processing of returned goods Perform in-house laboratory testing Inventory Control Maintain label inventory for production use Maintain retain and rejected logs Documentation File and organization of various documentation when assigned Quality review of documents Other Participate in training others as needed
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Science related field.
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control. Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, DEA and State Board regulations is considered an asset Excellent communication skills required ; fluent English (oral & written). Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment. Detail oriented is a must with the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Required to wear a full-face mask for up to several hours. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/MasterControl an asset. Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
