Job Description

Role Overview:
As the Supervisor of Quality and Engineering, you will serve as the resident Quality Control (QC) expert for our Abu Dhabi operations. You will oversee end-to-end QC functions across assigned aircraft and workshop sections, ensuring all maintenance is performed "by the book." You will lead, train, and mentor Quality Control Inspectors, maintain flawless aircraft historical records, and ensure all maintenance meets strict military and OEM standards. A key component of this role is the successful execution of TAMMS-(A) training and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership :
Manage, train, and assign tasks to all Technical/Quality Control Inspectors.
Advisory :
Act as the primary QC advisor to the Company's QC Manager.
Compliance & Records :
Maintain 100% accuracy of aircraft historical records, preventing over-flights on SSL, overhaul, or retirement schedules.
Technical Oversight :
Oversee timely execution of OEM Bulletins, Maintenance, and Safety messages.
Engineering Liaison :
Direct oversight of MECs (Maintenance Engineering Changes) and Engineering Documents.
Incident Management :
Lead PQDR submissions and support QC activities during incidents or accidents.
Modifications :
Ensure rigorous QC oversight of all aircraft modifications.
Key Requirements:
Education & Certifications FAA A&P License (highly preferred) Diploma in Quality Management Systems or BA/BS in Aviation (preferred) AS/AA degree in Aviation-related studies Professional Experience Minimum 3 years as a QC Supervisor (specific aircraft types or
AVIM/DEPOT
) Military or high-tempo MRO experience (Unit/Intermediate Maintenance) Extensive TAMMS-A experience (essential) QC experience with aircraft modifications and depot-level repairs
