We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS), support organizational compliance initiatives, and drive quality performance across multiple locations. This position is ideal for a quality professional who enjoys building systems, leading audits, solving problems, and partnering with operations to improve processes and customer satisfaction. Position Summary The Quality Systems Manager leads and manages the company's multi-site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with
ISO 9001
standards while driving continuous improvement across all locations. This role provides strategic direction, standardization, and oversight of quality operations and personnel. The position also serves as a key resource in supporting organizational compliance initiatives, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), through document control, audit readiness, process compliance, and continuous improvement activities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Own and manage the company-wide Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
requirements across all locations. Lead internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and registrar audits. Develop, implement, maintain, and standardize quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and records. Oversee, mentor, and develop Quality Inspectors across company locations. Analyze quality data, trends, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions (CAPA), and nonconformance investigations. Manage customer complaints, quality concerns, and escalation activities. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to improve process consistency, product quality, and operational effectiveness. Ensure supplier quality standards, corrective actions, and performance expectations are established and maintained. Drive cross-site alignment of quality systems, procedures, and expectations. Maintain document control processes and ensure quality records are properly managed and retained. Lead Management Review activities and report quality performance metrics to executive leadership. Support implementation and maintenance of organizational compliance programs, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Assist in developing, maintaining, and controlling policies, procedures, and documentation required to support CMMC compliance. Coordinate evidence collection, record retention, and audit readiness activities for quality and compliance programs. Participate in internal assessments and compliance reviews related to cybersecurity, quality, and customer requirements. Collaborate with Information Technology and department leaders to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes. Support employee training and awareness programs related to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Stay informed on changes to ISO 9001, CMMC, customer requirements, and industry best practices. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Quality Management or Quality Systems leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality principles. Experience leading internal and external audits. Experience with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively across departments and locations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Experience with ERP systems and document control systems preferred. Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001
Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferred. Experience implementing or maintaining an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System. Familiarity with
CMMC, NIST
800-171, or cybersecurity compliance programs preferred. Experience supporting customer, regulatory, or third-party compliance audits. Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
